| Cook syrup, sugar
and salt together until it forms into a ball when a teaspoon of mixture is
dropped into a cup of cold water. Add butter and cream gradually so that
it doesn't stop boiling. Cook until firm ball stage (248°), stirring
constantly. Pour into buttered pan. Cut into pieces.
