Recipe Freezing Dark Sweet Cherries Amish Canning Recipes

Make syrup as for canning, using sugar and 3 c. water. When hot, add Jello and stir until dissolved. Let cool. Place cherries in containers and cover with syrup.

5 lbs. cherries, pitted
3 c. sugar
3 oz. black cherry Jello
3 c. water
