Chocolate Cream Puffs

  In a saucepan over medium heat bring water, butter and salt to a boil. Add flour and cocoa all at once. Stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat. Let set 5 minutes. Add the egg, beating well. Beat until smooth and shiny. Drop by heaping tablespoons 3" apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400° F. for 30-35 minutes, until set and browned. Immediately split puffs open. Remove and discard dough from inside; cool completely. Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy; fold in whipped cream and strawberries. Fill bottom halves of puffs; replace tops. Serve immediately.

1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
pinch of salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tablespoon cocoa
1 egg
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
3/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh strawberries.
