Banana Cake
In a large
bowl cream the sugar, egg yolks, and butter till frothy. In another bowl
add the vinegar to the milk. Sift together the flour and cream of tartar
in a third bowl. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Moisten baking soda
with water and add to egg yolk mixture. Add milk and flour alternately
until well blended. Fold in the beaten egg whites and mashed bananas
until well blended. Pour into a greased 9-1/2" x 13" cake pan.
Bake in a preheated 350° F. oven for approx. 50 minutes or until cake
pulls away from sides of pan.

1 c. milk
4 c. unsifted flour
1 t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
2 T. water
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
