Black Magic Cake Recipe Amish Cooking Recipes

Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine flour, sugar cocoa, soda, baking powder and salt in large owl. Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Batter will be thin. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2" pan or two 9" cake pans. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes for oblong pan or 30 to 35 minutes for layer pans.

1¾ c. flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 c. strong coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
