Frosted Butter Pecan Pudding Cake
Measure
1/3 cup of the dry pudding mix from pouch and set aside for frosting.
Combine cake mix, remaining pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and maple
flavor in large mixing bowl. Blend then beat at medium speed for 4
minutes. Pour into greased and floured 13" x 9" pan. bake at
350° F for 40 - 45 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool
in pan thoroughly. Combine reserved pudding mix, whipped topping mix and
milk in a small mixing bowl. Blend; gradually increase speed to high and
beat until mixture will form soft peaks. Spread over top of cooled cake
and sprinkle with nuts.
