Kentucky Cream Cake
Cream oil
and margarine with sugar. Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well. Add
flour and soda alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and
nuts. Fold in egg whites. Bake in two or three 8" x 8" x
2" layers at 350° F. for 35-40 minutes. Spread frosting of your
choice between layers and stack.
