Lazy Wife Cake

Combine the above ingredients in sifter and sift into bowl. Mix with fork (no spoon) and make 3 holes in dry ingredients. In one hole put 1 teaspoon vanilla, in another hole 7 tablespoons cooking oil and in third hole 1 tablespoon vinegar. Pour 1 cup cold water over mixture and mix thoroughly with fork. Bake at 350° F. for 25 - 30 minutes.

1½ cups pastry flour
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 cup white sugar
