Pineapple Ice Box Cake

Crush wafers and put half in bottom of pan. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs. Put on top of crumbs. Then add a layer of drained pineapple. Add a layer of whipped cream and nuts mixed together and add remaining crumbs and place in refrigerator 12 hours before serving. (Whipped cream should be sweetened to taste, but if Rich's topping is used add no sugar.)

Serves 10

1/2 lb vanilla wafers
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 eggs
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/2 cup nuts
