Rhubarb Coffee Cake

  In mixing bowl, cream sugar and shortening, add egg, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture. Fold in rhubarb. Spread in a greased 13'x9"x2" baking pan. Combining all topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° F for 45-50 minutes.. 1½ c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c. sour cream
1½ c. chopped rhubarb
Toppings:
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. pecan or walnuts
1 T. butter or margarine
1 t. cinnamon
