Rich Walnut Cake
Cream
butter and sugar in mixing bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in the
eggs. Sift together the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in
the flour mixture alternately with milk and vanilla until well blended.
Fold in the nuts and pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a preheated 350° F. oven for
60 minutes until it springs back when touched lightly.

2 c. granulated sugar
3 eggs (2/3 cup)
3 c. plus 2 T. sifted cake flour
2½ t. baking powder
1¼ c. milk
1 t. vanilla extract
1½ c. coarsely cut English walnuts
greased and floured 10" tube pan
