Robin Hood Sunshine Cake
Beat egg
whites until foamy; add cream of tartar and salt. Mix well. Add 1 c.
sugar gradually, continuing to beat until stiff peaks are formed. Set
aside. Beat egg yolks until thick and light colored. Add 1/2 c. sugar
gradually and continue to beat until fluffy. Combine water, lemon
extract, and vanilla. Add flour alternately with water, beginning and
ending with flour. Fold in egg white meringue. Mix slowly. Pour into an
ungreased tube pan. Bake at 325° F. for 60 minutes.

8 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Robin Hood flour
2 T. cold water
1 t. lemon extract
1 t. vanilla
