Walnut Wonder Cake Amish Cooking Recipes

Preheat oven to 350° F. Cream sugar and margarine. Sift dry ingredients together and then add alternately to the creamed mixture with the milk. beat well after each addition. Pour half of batter into greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle half of topping across the batter and then add the rest of the batter. Finish by sprinkling the remainder of the topping over the top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Topping:
Mix well together.

Filling/Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Batter:
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c margarine
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
