Amish Recipes Buttermilk Cookies

Mix together the first 5 ingredients (like pie dough). Add eggs; dissolve soda in buttermilk and add vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350° F.

1 cup lard
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
