Double Crunchers Cookies

Shape into balls; flatten with bottom of glass dipped in flour. Roll in powdered sugar, if desired. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. For chocolate filling, melt chocolate chips and add the rest.

1½ cups shortening
1½ cups brown sugar
1½ cups white sugar
3 eggs
1½ tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1½ tsp. baking soda
1½ cups coconut
3 cups Rice Krispies
3 cups oatmeal
3½ cups flour
Chocolate Filling:
1 - 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
3 Tbsp. water
1½ cups powdered sugar
1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
