Fudge Nut Bars
Cream
together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda,
salt and oats. Set aside while making filling.
Filling:
In saucepan over boiling water, mix together chocolate chips,
milk, oleo and salt. Stir until smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread
a thin layer of oatmeal mixture over 2 cookie sheets. Add filling and
remaining oatmeal mixture on top. Bake at 350° F. for 20 minutes or
until lightly browned. Do not over-bake.

6 cups quick oats
