Jam Bars

Combine all ingredients except jam in large bowl. Mix until mixture is crumble. Reserve 2 cups mixture and press the rest in bottom of 9" x 13" pan. Spread jam evenly over mixture. Then sprinkle with remainder of mixture. Bake at 400° F. till golden brown. Cool and cut in squares.

2 C. rolled oats
1¾ C. all-purpose flour
1 C. butter or oleo
1 C. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 C. chopped nuts
1 t. cinnamon
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
3/4 C. jam preserve (any flavor)
