Lemon Blossom Sugar Cookies

Cream sugar and oleo, add remaining ingredients. Cut with cutter shaped like a blossom. Take thimble and make a hole in center of blossom. Mix some white sugar and yellow food coloring then sprinkle on cookies before baking. Bake at 250° F.

3 cups white sugar
1½ cups oleo
6 eggs
pinch of salt
4 tablespoons lemon flavoring
4 teaspoons baking powder
7 cups Robin Hood flour
yellow food coloring
