Recipe Luscious Lemon Bars Amish Recipes

Cream butter and powdered sugar; gradually beat in flour. Press into an un-greased 8" x 4" loaf pan. Bake at 325° F. for 14-16 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. For filling, beat together all the ingredients until frothy. Pour over warm crust. Bake for 18-22 minutes of until lightly browned. Dust with powdered sugar.

1/4 c. butter, softened

1/2 c. flour
Filling:
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 T. flour
1/8 t. baking powder
