Recipe Maple Leaf Cookies Amish Recipes

Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Do not over-bake. Use maple leaf design cookie cutter. Bake at 350° - 375° F.
Frosting:
Mix together and beat well. Add 1/2 c. Crisco and 3/4 c. marshmallow topping. Cream until smooth.

10½ c. flour
4 T. maple flavoring

1 T. vanilla
1 t. cream of tartar
2 T. flour
2 c. powdered sugar
