Oatmeal Drop Cookies

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses thoroughly. Measure flour. Stir dry ingredients together. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in 375° F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Makes 6 dozen cookies.

1/2 c. shortening
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1¾ c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
