Orange Drop Cookies

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Blend. Add orange juice, baking powder, soda and salt. Beat well. Then add flour. Bake at 400° F. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
Icing:
Blend together and spread onto cookies.

2/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup orange juice
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Orange Butter Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons orange juice
