Peanut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Combine dry ingredients; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy. Blend in peanut butter. Gradually add dry ingredients. Stir in peanuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 8 minutes.

2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup Spanish peanuts
1 cup chocolate chips
