Recipe Prune Cookies Amish Recipes

Combine sugars and shortening. Add eggs and prunes; mix well. Add dry ingredients and nuts. If dough is too stiff, add a little prune juice. Drop onto cookie sheets. Bake at 375° F.

1 c. brown sugar

1c. cooked prunes, cut fine
3 eggs
3 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 t. salt
1 t. soda
mixed spice
