Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream butter and sugar with egg. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately to creamed mixture with pumpkin. Stir in vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° F for 10-12 minutes.

1½ c. sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
1 egg
2½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
