After mixing chill for 2 hours. Roll out on a heavily floured surface 1/4" thick. Bake at 350° F. Frost with white frosting when cool.

1½ cups sugar
3/4 cup molasses
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
4½ cups flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
