Recipe Apple Pie with Crumbs Amish Recipes

Put apples through Salad Master. Mix apples, sugar, water and tapioca. Put in unbaked pie shells. Mix topping ingredients and put on top of apples. Bake at 425° F. Filling is enough for 5 pies and crumbs is enough for 10 pies.

12 c. sliced apples
3 c. white sugar
6 T. tapioca
3 c. water
Crumbs:
10 c. rolled oats
3-1/3 c. brown sugar
3 c. nuts
5 t. cinnamon
3 c. butter
