Recipe Blueberry Custard Pie Amish Recipes

Mix egg yolks, sugar and flour together, then add milk, salt, vanilla and beaten egg whites. Put enough fresh blueberries in unbaked pie shell to cover bottom; pour custard filling on top. Bake at 425° F. for 15 minutes, then at 350° F. until done. This is also good with black raspberries. Do not wash fruits or pies will get watery.

Yield: 1 pie.

2 egg yolks
1 T. flour
salt
beaten egg whites
3/4 c. brown sugar
1½ c. milk
vanilla
fresh blueberries
