Grape Nut Pie

   Soak Grape Nuts in warm water until water is absorbed. Combine sugar, Karo, butter, and salt in saucepan. Quickly bring to a boil and remove from heat. Beat eggs until foamy. Add a small amount of hot syrup mixture to eggs, beating well. Add rest of syrup and mix well. Stir in Grape Nuts and vanilla. Bake in pastry shell at 375° for about 30 minutes. Makes one pie. 1/2 cup Grape Nuts
1/2 cup lukewarm cater
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light Karo
1/4 cup butter
1/8 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
