Prune Potpie
In a
saucepan combine pitted prunes with enough water to cover prunes. Cook
on medium until soft. While these are cooking mix your pie crust recipe
to make 4 pies with a top crust. Cool the prunes. For each pie mix 1 cup
stewed prunes, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour and 1 cup water from the
prune juice. You need to use your hands to mix this in order to have it
mixed well. Bake at 425° F. until golden brown. Sprinkle some sugar on
crust. Serve with milk. This is a very old recipe.
