Bake at 350° F. for 55 minutes or till done like a cake.
Sauce:
Cook then add 4 T. clear jel mixed with water and add to mixture. Bring to boil again. Cool. Can be mixed with whipped cream. Fix in pan or in layers.

2 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C. vegetable oil
1 t. vanilla
2 t. soda
2 C. flour
2 C. diced cooked apples
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 C. nuts
1/2 t. salt
