Rhubarb Pudding

Layer in cake pan in order given. Pour water over top and bake at 350° F. for 30-35 minutes. When ready to serve, top with whipped topping. Serve with ice cream or warm with milk.

4 cups rhubarb, cut up
1 cup sugar
1 (3 oz.) package cherry Jell-O
1 white or yellow cake mix
2 cups cold water
