Sweetheart Pudding Amish Recipes

Boil together milk, sugar, egg yolks, flour and vanilla. Cool. Mix cracker crumbs, butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Keep some crumbs to put on top. Line pan with crumbs and pour in pudding. Beat egg whites and add a little sugar and vanilla. Put on top of pudding. sprinkle crumbs over top. Bake at 350° F. until nicely browned.

4 cups milk
1½ cups sugar
3 egg yolks
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
