Tangy Meatballs
In a large
bowl, beat eggs. Add oats, milk, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add the ground beef; mix well. Shape into 1½" balls. Place into
two 9x13 baking pans. Bake uncovered, at 375° F. for 30 minutes. Remove
from the oven; drain. Place meatballs in one pan. Bring sauce
ingredients to a boil; pour over meatballs. Return to the oven and bake,
uncovered, for 20 minutes or until meatballs are done.
Yields 4 doz.

1/2 t. garlic powder
3 lbs. ground beef

2 c. ketchup
1½ c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped onion
1-2 t. liquid smoke
1/2 t. garlic powder |
