Brown Ham Gravy

In medium saucepan, over low heat, brown flour, stirring constantly until deep golden. Remove from hat. Sir in sugar. Gradually add ham liquid, stirring to make smooth mixture. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Makes about one cup.

1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1½ c. cooking liquid from ham
