Ham and Corn Pie

  Combine ham, corn, eggs, salt, sugar, pepper, flour, and butter. Pour into pastry-lined pan and cover with top crust. Slit the top crust to let the steam escape. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° F. for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Make 1 to eat and 1 to freeze. 

Makes 1 (9" x 13") baking dish or 2 (10") pies

2 c. diced precooked or baked ham
4 c. fresh corn kernels
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 t. salt
1½ t. sugar
1/4 t. freshly ground pepper
2 T. flour
1/3  c. melted butter
pastry for large baking dish or 2 pie pans
