Macaroni Ham Casserole

Add salt and macaroni to boiling water. Boil rapidly, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Melt oleo in saucepan. Add green pepper and onion. Simmer 5 minutes. Add diced ham and brown lightly. Rinse macaroni with warm water and drain. combine ham mixture, mushroom soup, milk, parsley and pepper with macaroni. Put in 1½ qt. greased casserole dish; sprinkle with cheese and bake at 375° F. for 45 minutes.

2 t. salt
4 oz. elbow macaroni
3 c. boiling water
1 T. oleo
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced ham
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1 T. parsley
1/8 t. pepper
1/2 c. grated American cheese
