Huntington Chicken Recipe Amish Cooking Recipes

Melt the cheese into the gravy. Pour over macaroni and chicken meat. Do not overstir or meat will get stringy. Pour into casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour. Serves 10.

1 hen, cooked and deboned
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups macaroni, cooked and drained
1 cup cheese
Thickening for broth:
8 Tbsp flour
3/4 -1 cup milk
1 Tbsp. chicken seasoning
salt to taste
