Huntington Chicken 2
Heat broth and
chicken till boiling. Mix flour, cream and egg yolk together and stir into
broth till thickened. Boil noodles in salted water; drain. Mix all
ingredients together and pour into a 3 or 4 quart casserole dish. top with
potato chips or toasted bread crumbs and bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes.
Variation: 3/4 cup cheese powder may be added to broth instead of using
Velveeta cheese. Serves 10. |
1 quart boneless
chicken pieces
1 quart chicken broth, flavored with 1-2 Tbsp. chicken soup base
2 cups noodles
4-6 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, chopped
1/3 cup flour
1 cup cream
1 egg yolk
salt and pepper to taste |
