Lancaster County, Pennsylvania--the Pennsylvania "Dutch"
County--has been famed for its tobaccos since before the American Revolution. Now, just as
in early days, Lancaster County's Amish and other traditional family farmers grow the
rich, full-bodied Pennsylvania Seedleaf for our cigars. They still do things the old-fashioned way--planting, growing, hand-harvesting, then barn-curing their tobaccos for just the right time. We take great pride in our cigars--all made in the Pennsylvania tradition of quality and value. |
Here are some cigar facts that may help you choose your favorites. All cigars consist of three parts:
We offer cigars made by two processes, with several variations in tobacco content, ring gauge (diameter at the widest point) and style for each. The first process uses a homogenized
binder (tobacco plus a natural adhesive) and in some cases a homogenized wrapper. These
cigars are easier to make, so they're very good smokes at very reasonable prices.

MARSH WHEELING CIGARS
Marsh
Wheeling cigars is the oldest American brand cigar and was smoked by such
legends as Daniel Webster, Annie Oakley , and P.T. Barnum. In fact, Marsh
Wheeling cigars were one of the first and most famous cigars to use the term
"stogies" in their packaging - the term having arisen from the
Conestoga wagons whose drivers customarily smoked the long, thin, rustic-style
cigar in their travels along the National Road.
This is a uniquely slim and affordable cigar made of
purely U.S.-grown broadleaf tobacco from Pennsylvania's Amish country.
