Rhubarb Custard Pie

  Put rhubarb in bottom of unbaked pie shell. Combine sugar, flour, salt, butter and vanilla. Heat milk and add to sugar mixture. Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes. Beat egg whites, add 1/4 cup sugar. Put on top. Bake another 10-15 minutes or until browned. 2 cups rhubarb
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup Carnation milk
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
