Tomato Gravy

Place juice and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, blend the flour and salt with the cream. Add the milk and mix well. Pour into hot juice, stirring constantly until it boils and is thickened. May be served with bread, toast, crackers or fried potatoes.

1 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cream
2 c. milk
